Seats S40

The seats/chairs on my Volvo S40 2000 mod is in bad contion. I`ve got an offer to buy seats from a S40 2006 mod, and wonder if theese seats will fit into my 2000 mod car ? I have checked with my local volvo dealer, and the seats from those cars have different order numbers. Do somebody know ??? Thanks

Unfortunately, they are from two completely different cars and are very unlikely to bolt right in. If you had seats from a 2004 or earlier they would though.

You bet. You could also try to find a re-upholsterer who will just replace damaged sections of the seat leather. May save you a few bucks.

I have a 2000 s40 and I wonder if the two front leather seats could be exchanged. my passanger seat is like new and driver's so so.

I'm not sure what you mean by exchange. If its just some minor damage, there are some leather repair kits you could attempt by yourself like the ones on leathermagic.com Mine were so far gone they just needed to be replaced. I did the front and passenger seat as well as the armrest for $750. You could also check salvage yards and you may get lucky.
