Need Some Fine Tuning, Please Help

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Need Some Fine Tuning, Please Help

Post by JbsRedR »

I'm just on today looking for some help on a Tial Q BOV that I had installed in my 96 850 r, along with Precision front mount with 2.5 in alum pipe. Bought a TVC blanking plate from Forge Motorsports, thinking that I could blank the stock TCV and it would flow fine through the external BOV( listed above). After Installing the blanking plate I re-routed the hose from intake manifold to the BOV( the same hose that was running to the TCV). I started the car and was Getting a very rough idle and I could see that the BOV was opening and closin, creating a leak of sorts. My question is how can I make this work right? Do I buy a stronger/weaker spring( current one is rated for 15psi) or am I missing a step or something stupid like taking a battery termanal off. Please help any answers help!
