AC is not blowing out cold air

my AC isnt blowing any cold air, and it doesnt seem like its blowing out that hot of air either. i dont know anything about air conditioning so i was wondering if you guys could help me

You should start by searching this site for a solution. There are lots of answers here.

Crank her up, turn on the AC wide open, give it a minute and then check to see if the AC clutch has engaged. If not the first suspect is low freon. You can buy R134a (provided that your car is new enough for that refrigerant) and re-charge yourself. It's super easy. If you car has R12 you might consider converting to R134 or use a hydrocarbon refrigerant like Envirosafe 12a, which you can find on ebay.

The second thing I would check is the AC clutch gap. There is a lot of info on this site about that. My guess is that if you haven't checked you are too low on refrigerant. You want something like 35 psig on the low side. There are recharge kits that come with refrigerant, a hose and a gauge. Get the kind that has the re-usable hose. It's cheaper in the long run.
