My 1991 stationwagon has automatic airconditioner. For the last two years the blower has stopped blowing through the airvents on the dashboard. It used to come on after twenty minutes but now no matter what setting it blows through the defrost vents and floor. I just changed the electronic climate control unit that sits in the dashboard and the problem persists. Is there something else that can be replaced? If so what is it called? Is it hard to get to in the car?
Thanks
Zev

Sounds like you have a severe vacuum leak. The vent controls operate on engine vacuum. Please see my post dated October 1, 2004 called "1986 740 GLE disfunctional A/C vent controls". Let us know what you find.
