2008 S40 Cabin air filter (replacing)

Post by Bruins27 »

I've searched through the forum and have found info on replacing the cabin air filter...however, these are for different years...would this same info apply to a 2008? Or has someone w/a 2008 model done this before...and if so, how big of a pain is it? If you've done it before, can you provide tips/info on how and exactly where the filter is located? Thanks.

I'm just going to guess that its the same as the 05 S40. You can find a link how to do that here

You can try just prying back the fabric to the right of the gas pedal to see if you can see the cabin air filter there. if you can, then be in store for a long replacement. if not, then you saved yourself a lot of work
