S70 engine replacement

My engine is dead and needs to be replaced. I have looked for weeks to buy a used engine for my 2000 S70 T3 Engine and no luck. Does anyone have one that has low mileage?

If you don't mind me asking, why do you already need a new engine? Check www.car-part.com for engines. It's a nationwide salvage yard search. The engines from the 1999 and 2001 model year S70's should work also.

The Volvo mechanic said there are metal shavings in the oil. My oil pressure light went on, then the car started making a horrible knocking noise. I had it towed to the mechanic. IT has 126,000 miles, but I was surprised to know it was going to be a total replacement. It is the T3 engine, and the Volvo mechanic says the other models are not interchangable. Are you sure about that? I have gone to the websit you referred me to, and no luck.
