bad oil leak on c70

hiya i have a c70 with a bad oil leak at rear of engine,but i cannot find where its coming from,ive had car up in the air on axle stands and put it in drive so i could look for leak.cannot find it anywhere.any ideas please thanks. oh car has150,000 miles and is a 2001 model auto

What I would do is clean off all the oil that has gotten on the engine, run the car for a little bit and then take a look again to see if you can see where the leak is coming from. Without cleaning up the oil, it will be very hard to find the leak.

one thing that might have started this issue???
have you checked your (PCV) volvo calls it a flame trap system.
a quick test- with engine running, take off oil filler cap, with your hand covering the opening you should feel a little sucking from the engine. if its pressure comeing out that might be part of your problem? engine pressure is finding another way out from a old gasket??
