Turns off at idle sometimes

1998 V70xc 183k no CEL

Over the past three months the car will quietly shut off when at idle, usually while stopped at a light. This has happened about 10 times over the last 3 months. The car restarts on the 2 or 3 try and wont stall for another week or so. No check engine lights. Any idea's ?

I had that problem with my '98.
Turned out to be a bad MAF.

DEMONS!!!

I might start with checking battery and ground connections. Last time I was home and took the old '74 BMW out for a drive, it was cutting off EVERY time I let off the gas. A wire at the alternator had knocked itself loose, but apparently there's no battery light or anything of the sort.
