Noisy tailgate

My 2010 XC70 has a noisy tailgate. I've seen various 'solutions' - adjust catch tighter (done) - spray seal and rubber stops with silicone spray (done). Not time for it's 18K service yet and not worth the hastle of a seperate visit to the dealer but, the noisy drives me crazy (Perhaps I should say crazier!!) Any ideas for a fix anyone!

Not specific but IPD has a (cheap) kit for the 850s and V70s. I've never had the need to look for others. Give them a call.

open rear gate and apply grease on latch and than close the latch with a screwdriver and pack more grease up inside latch assy and the squeak will be gone we use a light grease and apply it with a small brush but you must use grease
