1999 V70 back seat removal

I am trying to remove the back seat from my V70. I have the bum portion of the seat that flip forward off and the side cushions beside the doors but I can't figure out how to get the seat backs off. Any hints?

should be a bolt on each side as well as one in the middle, at the bottom. Torx -8 ?

Have fun....they don't make that part easy to get out.

Where the seat meets the side of the car where the mount is, there's a clip. Pull up on the clip. I used a pry bar sort of thing to get it out from there. It took me a long time and it wasnt easy. If i were near my car, I'd snap a pic for you.

Thanks Matty Moo. I saw those clips last night and sort of thought that they had something to do with the seat removal but they didn't seen to budge. I'll give it a try now that I know that that is the right avenue to follow.

I've got one of the clips removed but I can't get the seat up. I have been pulling up with as much force as I can muster. Any more hints?
I've been working at this for two days and can't figure out how the get the seat backs off. The clips are out on both sides but I can't seem to get the pivots out of their cradle. I have forced with a crowbar and there is no movement. There must be a pin or something holding the pivots in place but it is not evident.
Any ideas?
