Does GL-5, MT-1 75W-90 gear lube meet the specifications for use in a 1960 544 M4 transmission and rearend?

If this transmission has "yellow metal"(brass/copper/bronze)it requires sulfur free,non corrosive gear oil.The only brand I could find was CRC gl-4 at my local NAPA retailer.I kept hearing gl-5 supersedes gl-4 but I still don't believe that's true.
