Volvo BM 650 tractor

Just bought a 1978 BM 650 Tractor - what a great machine - runs beautifully but has anybody got any advice on removing excessive steering play from the steering box.Opened it up but not a drop of oil - what next?

Welcome to MVS,

That looks like a great tractor but unfortunately we only deal with the automotive side of things here. If I'm not mistaken the tractors were retained by the Volvo truck division after the automotive division got split off.

You might to better to go through a local truck dealer, here is a link that can get you to a local dealer if you are in the US:

Volvo Trucks never was the importer of Belinders-Monktell tractors. Volvo construction equipment might be of some help but I would not have high expectations from them either since they are far removed from the Volvo AB that existed when those tractors were produced.

i have the owners manual for a ccil bm t650 and a parts number book if you are still interested. how much success you have getting the parts is questionable.
