Code 113: Short Term fuel mixture too rich

Post by DCintraining »

Hi All,

My buddy has an 93 850GLT that had an exhaust leak which he fixed. The car ran poorly when he had the leak and his check engine light came on. The computer is showing Code 113 (A2): Short Term fuel mixture too rich. The car is also idling poorly, almost stalls at stops then revs slightly.

How do I reset this code so the check engine light will turn off. I can't seem to find directions on how to reset the codes. Any other ideas? Possibly a vacuum leak?

Thanks for all your assistance!

Eoin

He may have damaged the O2 sensor when doing the repair. Try replacing it. I think Volvospeed has direction for clearing codes. The link is on the main page of this site.

Even if there is no code for the 02 sensor you think it should be repaired?
