my 1994 850non turbo will run for a while and then run rough and stall and lose power.
3 shops have had car
put in
egr, mass air flow, trans,idle air ,timing belt, wp,
still same problem sometimes same day somtimes 8 days later

Go to search, type in camshaft position sensor, check the radio button Search for all terms and read what comes up. It's a likely candidate.

It seems very likely that you would have some codes stored. CMP usually throws a code, at least in my personal experience it has. You should check them to pinpoint the location.

My condolences. Look at the bright side, you're supporting our oil-based economy and they all made money! The consumer unfortunately will never have any recourse aginainst, "Well, it may be THAT (the repair STILL needed) too, but it was also THIS (the needless repair) contributing to your problem".

all the things already replaced are from codes, now there are none in stystem at all and still runs BAD.
