Just wondering if this is possible of not, i currently have a somewhat functional MCC, but spring, i think i will be redoing it. If possible putting in an ECC but i assume electrical is not ready for it.
Am i right?

You'd have to install all the servo motors for the flaps, add temp sensors,
the dash mounted light sensor, tie into existing electrical and electronics,
plus all of the associated wiring - and I'm sure there will be some stuff
that I missed. All in all, it would be a pretty ambitious project.
I sure wouldn't want to do it, but here are some pages on both:

This is about as practical as converting a N/A car to a turbo.
It can be done but the climate unit itself needs to be changed out (complete dash removal) and then you need to add the sensors over the grab bars and patch in the wiring. The MCC climate unit and the ECC climate unit are completely different animals.

I just have a completely bound up unit, and coming in spring i plan on taking it apart, doing whatever needed to get it but going again, It is the number 1 problem with my car.
If anyone has and VADIS or system drawings that would be of use that would be greatly appreciated.
Merry Christmas!
