95 850 turbo hood latch replacement

Post by uncledave11 »

kind of puzzled on this one. I recently got a pair of replacement hood latches to pelace the badly cracked ones on my 95 850. The drivers side has a 2 wire harness plugged into the electrical wiring and the replacement has none. assuming this is for some sort of hood open/close sensor, do i need this or can I leave this disconnected or possibly "shorted" together?

Thx,

Dave

Can you post a picture somewhere? I think the hood latches are metal and are cable driven.
