Where does the Cooling Fan Grounding connect to?

Hello Everyone,

We purchased a 1998 S70 GLT to add to our volvo collection.
The cooling fan would not go on after running the car in the freeway and then driving in the city consequently overheating. After a few tests and repairs (test relay, test fan, replace thermostat

) I discovered it was the grounding connection for the fan. I traced it to the harness that goes to the computer box. Since I was not able to determine where the grounding connection is, I installed a temporary wire from the fan to a bolt in the chassis (not my preferred choice to fix things

). Does any one know where the grounding connection would be at? I'm thinking that if it goes in to the computer box, other components might not be grounded as well.
I would greatly appreciate your comments!

The fan ground point is 31/55 and it goes to the block. Such as it is, here is the diagram from the schematics.

Do you know if these grounding points are similar or equal for the V 70 same year?

The book shows them to all be the same across the S, V, and C lines.
