Still having issues removing battery

Below you will see a picture of the battery tray. I've removed the plastic tab that is attached to the tray (tab is not pictured but it attaches to the lower left side of the tray on this pic) but the battery is still secured to the tray. Please tell me which bolt it is that I need to remove???

Probably the lower edge of the battery is just under the lip, you can see there are two lips in fact, at the top of that picture. The battery is not bolted in unless someone added some kind of external clamp to the setup.

As mentioned above, the battery should not be bolted down. The only things holding the battery in since you removed the lower left clip is the two lips at top and the one on the right side. It can be a little difficult to get out. The one on the right is usually the problem. You just need to man handle it. You kind of have to pull it left, forward and up at the same time and it should slide out from under the lips.

As posted, just be sure the base of the battery is clear of these points:

It's not a combo lock. Slide the battery to the left, then it should rock out of the tray. Lift the forward end up then the back end will clear the tabs.

Thanks for the suggestions. rspi, I made many attempts to slide it to the left; still wont budge! I will try lifting the front to see if that does anything. Not having any battery issues (other than trying to remove) but need to "learn" how to remove it just in case worst case scenario appears right before my eyes, as in dead battery in 15 degree temperature!

I am also having trouble removing the battery from my 1993 Volvo 850 GLT. I cannot figure out how to remove the plastic clip / clamp that holds the battery in place. I tried pushing it down thinking that would release it but to no avail. Can someone please tell me how I would take the clamp off?
