Feb 22, 2012 - 214,782 miles - Tires rotated/nail removed & tire patched
Dec 22, 2011- Tires rotated
Dec 21, 2012 - Oil change - 209,201 miles
-Fixed oil leak on cam cover
-Fixed radiator hose leak
Dec 15, 2012 - Heater hose blew/replaced
Oct 17, 2011 - 205,500 miles - Timing belt/water pump/camshafts/entire PCV system changed.
Sep 22, 2011 - Oil change - 204,000 miles
July 21, 2011 - Oil change - 199,000 miles
July 15, 2011 - 2 new Yokohama tires installed; 4-wheel alignment - 198,000 miles
May 19, 2011 - Oil change - 193,500 miles
May 12, 2011 - Transmission shift solenoids replaced; Mobil-1 ATF changed - 193,307 miles
Nov 26, 2010 - Replaced radiator (Nissens), heater core, and radiator hoses.
October 2010 - 180,000 miles - new front brakes/rotors, new LH hub bearing, and 2 new Yokohama tires

  • Replaced brake booster vacuum hose

April 26 - 218,008 miles
  • Spark plugs changed - Bosch copper
  • Oil leak from cam cover bolts fixed
  • #2 spark plug wire replaced (drowned in oil)
  • K&N air filter cleaned

  • Replaced defective power steering pump w/ used unit.

September 29th-
-Replaced defective Duralast 47DL with new one- $52.00
-Re-positioned top PCV hose- was leaking slightly.
-Purchased jumper cables... :oops:
October 4th-
-Re-charged A/C with 12oz. can R134A from Ollie's- used about 3/4 can. $6.88
October 9th-
- installed Volvo tire stem caps.
- Put 2 "prancing moose" magnets on either fender from Dave Barton- $8.60
October 10-
-Replaced missing passenger side fog light grille with new OEM part- $14.70
-Installed iPd license plate frame- $2.00
-Filled tires to proper pressure(s), incl. spare.
October 11-
Replaced battery in transmitter #1.
October 12-
-Replaced missing screws for driver's side fog light- free.

219,350-
-Replaced back brake pads with Volvo OEM, cleaned shims.
-Replaced oil (Mobil 1 High Mileage Synthetic 5w30) and filter (Purolator)
-Replaced old, green brake fluid (>5 years old) with fresh new dot 3, bled brakes until clear (4 bottles)
-Replaced older style Volvo emblem for new style ordered from Ebay.
-Filled low tires up, 36/38 psi. Were mostly down by 10 psi. Back tires have little to no tread remaining and will be replaced shortly; outer and inner tie rods are no longer any good; will be replaced with Volvo OEM and aligned.

November 25,2012- 219,697
-Replaced upper heater hose with almost new part from junkyard
-Replaced cracked drivers side headlight lens with good used unit
-Replaced all coolant
-Installed wiring for model year 99 side marker lights
-Installed 1999 C70 windshield washer "fan" jets
-Put on "I <3 My Volvo" plate found in junkyard

11/30/2012 219,732 miles- ALL cooling hoses replaced with 350 mile OEM Volvo replacement hoses from friend's totaled '98 V70 T5 :(
12/1/2012 219,745 miles- Inner/Outer tie rods, steering boots replaced with TRW parts/aftermarket boots
-2 new Continental DWS Extremecontact 205/55R16's on the back of the car; Discount Tire
-Front end alignment @ Merchants; almost killed the car and myself (they didn't tighten a lock nut) :evil: Realigned to within perfect specs for a 98 S70.
Car is back to Stage 0.
