removing bumper

Hi folks
I bought a 1987 760 turbo sedan 4 months ago the paints in fair condition except for the spoiler under the front bumper where the fog are I not getting a paint job any time soon so i'm thinking about removing the entire section that holds fog lights in place,will I have any probems for doing this.The car may look better
My next thought is does anyone know of a Volvo web site where I could find spray paint and touch up paint .

Also my dash lights will not come on I've checked the fuses and turned the dimmer switch still no lights all the warning lights work.The dash clock works but I can't set the clock
