Hello all, my 2000 Volvo s80 has engine heat reaching the inside of the car. The heat seems to be coming from underneath the driver side dash where the CEM is located. This has become worse since replacing the under engine cover. I have checked all the heat shields and they all seem to be in place. It is now impossible to sit in car without turning on the AC, Any ideas where the heat could be coming from and how I can trace and fix.
Thanks in advance

Check the seal where steering shaft comes through floor. Inside the car and under the car. I bet something is not snapped together. IF that is the case the car will be quieter inside when you repair it.
