clicking door hinge a simple fix!

clicking door hinge a simple fix!

don't you just love it when you fix something. my door hinge was making noise and thought it was the weld breaking again. T40 to the rescue: tightened the bolt and no noise!!!! if it loosens again, red locktight

I have the same middle door hinge check strap problem. I see the Torx bolt there. I think a piece of metal needs to be welded on mine thoigh.

Can anyone tell me what that middle arm piece actually functions as? Can I just remove that thing? Or is it connected to the door sensor ?
Curious because I don't know the function of that weak little middle hinge!!

Keeps the door from moving on a windy day. The other is a window guide.

It stops the door from moving. If it is one of the broken pieces in this photo on the right, I had replaced that piece on both 850s.
