Heated Seats

Hey Guys,

Does anyone here know the type of fuse ( Im guessing that its a fuse ) that goes into the seat.
mine are missing so i dont even know what they look like just wires dangling under neath.

There are no fuses in the seats themselves. The dangling wires are likely the seat thermostat wires. They are a bit of a bear to put back on but it helps if you have someone sit in the seat while you are trying to plug them back in. Be warned, the seat sitter will get goosed pretty good as you try to plug the wires back in so choose your assistant wisely.

Also, know that the thermostats keep the seat heaters from turning on if the temperature of the seat is warmer than 58 degrees (or something like that). So you will likely not get to test them until it cools down a little.

hey guys do you know if its possible to get more of those thermostats that plug back into the bottom of the seat?

There was a recall on the thermostats a few years ago. They caused the element to burn itself out. If you didn't get them replaced at a dealer, the recall may still be in affect and you can get them for free
