HU-613 & 8cm CDs?

I have a 2002 V70 with a HU-613 audio system. I also have a few of the little 8 cm (3") CDs with personal music. I'd like to play them in the HU-613 but I'm afraid that the little CDs might get jammed in the works. Any CD player should be able to accommodate 8 cm CDs, as they were part of the original CD standard but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Anyone know if they work or not?

Hi, no slot loading CD player can use the 8cm CD format, it's too small for the device to grab and center over the laser. The only CD players that can use the format have the tray that extends out with an 8cm indent in the middle.

I've been told by a few PC technicians that you may be able to get a small CD out by shaking it (not applicable with a car), otherwise you have to pull it apart to get it out.
