Hello,
For some strange reason, power seat controls stopped working. They were working yesterday and now today it doesn't. It is in a safe driving position, however, I need to get this fixed. Could this be a fuse issue or am I looking at something major? My passenger side works, but no dice for the driver's side. Also the Memory for the seat went out several years ago, so I did not think anything of it so I would just adjust it accordingly until this morning.
BTW: This is a 1999 S80 2.9
Thanks!

Sigh... Now I have an SRS Aribag Warning. I have no Idea what is going on... It seems like systems are going out. :-/. Please help. It seems like something is breaking everytime I get into the car, and I am starting to get to the point where I cannot fix some things because of the cost.

My Condolences brother. i too have a s80 that has fallen into disrepair faster than i can fiscally keep up with it. 1. have u made any recent changes electrically? 2. Do you have access to and OBD reader? (almost all auto parts stores will let you use theirs for free). i know in some volvo's (not sure if its true in the s80 particularly) that the power seat and SIPS system run on neighboring circuits. Just taking a stab in the dark but my guess is that perhaps a wiring/electrical fault knocked out several eletrical circuits in a cluster, causing the Seats not to work and the SRS light to come on. Thats the only possible correlation I can think of.

How hard is it to get into the back of the seat? I think I know what happened... I had forgotten about it, but I had to stop quick and my backpack, which had my laptop in it, Slid off the back seat and hit the back of the chair just above the lumbar support. I did not think it hit that hard but could this have damaged the motor? Of is it in a different place?
