850 alarm problem

a while ago my remote decided it didn't want to unlock my car its a 95/6 850 t5 auto estate
i had to unlock the car with the key which then set off the alarm.............i've pulled the 2 fuses that control alarm/central locking etc so i can now use the car................the alarm i can live without but not having the central locking working is a pain
i've tried to look through past posts but can't find answer..................been told there is a seuence for refitting fuses so central locking will work.............but what is it............does anyone know the cure

also when i get a new remote how do i reprogramme it to car with the alarm still going off...........any help greatly appreciated

Usually the rear hatch wiring is the problem. Lock the car at the door and see if the rear hatch is locked. If not, check the wires that run near the hinge.

thanks for that.............i've recently replaced the rear hatch loom as it was causing problems..............the problem was with the remote this time.................looking for a temporary fix untill i can source a new remote..............
