I am at the local junk yard trying to remove the driver's side WR.
From what I understand the glass needs to be up to remove the WR.
The battery is out and the window is half down and I cannot remove the WR.
Is there a way for me to raise the glass all the way up?

Just a thought, YOu could attach an 18v drill battery to the motor. I did that on a car to test if the motor was good or not before deciding to buy the actuator. You can just switch the polarity of the wires to reverse the direction of the motor. I did this on a 1996 Camry. Just get 2 lengths of wire and wrap them around the posts on the battery and then tap them to the contacts of the actuator.
Of course all of this is assuming you have access to a battery pack.

Dear cn90,
use warcraftjunkie's method to lower the window halfway till you see part of the "window regulator mechanism pivot" from the inside of the door. try removing the U-shaped metal pin locking the pivot with a flat screw driver. if that doesn't work, you'll have to use some force to break the green colour pivot (S70) made of plastic. there should be two for each regulator.
good luck. Clarence.
