While driving my 2004 AWD S80, my engine completely lost power.. the info window said ''decreased engine performance''
I pulled off the freeway, waited for 5 minutes and started the vehicle with no problems accept the CD player was playing at twice the speed, I turned it off and that solved that issue as well... I've had no problems since, but will be at the the dealer
monday for a diagnostic check.... any advice?
Its been about 2 months since the first incident, and I decided to take it for a long drive. On my return trip, the car lost complete power twice and after waiting a few minutes, started up and I made it back.... of course i am getting a little more info from my message window too .... and that is ''urgent engine service''
I'm sure the car could have gone into ''limp home mode'' ..... the woman who owned the car before me kept good records and i can see she had the car in at least 4 times for an electrical issue..... can i be dealing with a ETM problem, that will fail more than once?
Complete loss of power, stopped and starts right up. ECM?

turbo control ..... The dealer replaced the boost pressure sensor and upgraded my ECM. Just within my 90 days, so i was good to go.....
