what s70 parts fit or are an upgrade for 850

I found a local guy parting out a s70 real cheap. First ill ask about the parts i need.
Are spring perches the same? Mine are toast. Also how can u tell if there good or not if the cars on blocks?
Are cv axles the same? Mine are gone n his looked really good.
Are struts the same? If his are newer and a good brand like blisten or something ill get those.
Im already getting the wiper arms mine barly get half the windshield

Now the upgrade parts. Both cars are t5 n auto
I know u can swap gauges from a 98 to a 96+ but what stopping you from 95? Is it the speedo can i just do it like a 5 speed swap n wire it to the abs?
Also brakes, i think some volvos came with 302mm rotors what other parts like caliper spindle brake line do i need if it has 302 brakes?
I dont now what year it is so i dont now if its a straight or angled flange turbo but its a 16t, im already running a straight 16t is the angled flange worth the hassel?

Also are most of the sensors the same? Like the maf n stuff, i know the ecu is different and will mess up an 850 but are the sensors the same? I dont really need em but its nice to have extras, and what ones should i get? Ill grab the injectors too incase i plan on upgrading later.

Sorry for asking so many questions im going to do more searching n reading but just thought i'd ask maybe save some time cause all i have is a phone so reading takes forever

Thank you everybody for your help, if you now of any other parts i should get, an upgrade [performance or cosmetic], or a part that fails often on 850 or whatever please let me now. Thank you

Also i heard the 99+ oil pan is an upgrade? I cant find a hole lot of info on it though.

If it is a 98, then everything you mentioned is the same. A 98 is the workings of an 850 but with different body and interior parts. The engine, transmission, driveline and struts, everything mechanical is the same. Almost everything inside the cabin is different although some things can be modified to fit an 850.

If it is a 99-00, then the engine has changed and many parts are no longer swappable. Oil pan should be but I do not know the details of how you switch to the newer style oil cooler (you'd need that too). Trans not sure. Suspension including CV axles is the same, brakes are the same.

Ok I went and got parts today, the guy said it was a 99 but i looked at the door jamb n it said late 97 so im pretty sure its a 98.

I got the spring seats they are in great condition. I got the cv axles, there ok, better then mine lol, but they have fine cracks like weathered tires but not real bad. How much longer do you guys think they"ll last?

I got the cluster, i just gota mess with it n see if i can get it to work on a 95, there has to be a way, like the 5 speed swaps, they wire the the cluster to the abs sensor for the speedo.

I got the wiper arms, now I can see lol. I didn't get the turbo though I might later, it was a 16t straight witch only came on 98's if it was angled flange I might have, but the guy said he's not gonna junk it soon so I might still get it.

I got a lot of sensors n engine trim pieces like the spark plug cover, a good top motor mount and lots of other knickknacks. And a few other parts I can't remember. I paid 50 think that's a good deal? He said he would sell the turbo for 30 so I'll probably go back when I get paid. Anyone now of another parts I should get?
