Just finished installing cyl head ,torqued everything to spec.Had an issue as to how to install the timing belt with the VVT sprocket on the exhaust cam. Finally set correctly,I tried to start and
It's running like €%}^¥£€!!!!!!!!! I scanned for codes and the P 1238 came up. By now I am peeved.......I had NO other issue with the car besides a dead miss on number 5 cylinder, which turned out to be a cracked exhaust valve after doing a leakage test.
Anyhow when I started to see what this code refers too I read that the MAF could possibly be the problem.....it went on to say to have turned off, disconnect the MAF sensor and to start the car. I did and the car is running so smooth ........I almost started to cry from happiness .......DOES anyone share this experience with the MAF or do I need to look at other things. Please ...if anyone can shed some light
In this I would appreciated!!!!
