break light warning lights w/ power window buttons pushed

First question I've had to post in 20 years of happy 240 ownership. My mechanic is ready to retire and tired of diagnostics, I think.

Recently the power window fuse blew, and windows did not function. Immediately after replacing fuse and windows working again, I noticed the dashboard's brake light warning would illuminate when I pushed the power window buttons up.

Also, last week with weather turning colder, the car will only shift out of park after a short delay. The rest of the day all is well. Could the shift lock mechanism and the problems with the brake light warning be related?
