Baro Sensor 1275342 fix - P0108 cel gone

Post by orleec »

Also referred to as Altitude Sensor, as well as MAP sensor - uber expensive new.

I cleaned it using 'mild' CRC MAF sensor cleaner - I removed it, gave the hole underneath a couple of spray using the supplied hose and reinstalled. I then cleared the cel using my OBDII code reader. Been over a month and cel did not return.

Don't use brake cleaner for the love of anything holy to you.
And as always, do at your own risk.

I did the same thing, it worked great.
Another option is to spray some lubricant in it (such as WD-40), let it drain and re-install.

Close to the washer fluid tank, near the back of the passenger side headlight.

You guys were lucky! Cleaned mine a few times and the code kept coming back! Should have checked a junker instead of paying ~ $120 for it.

Sorry to hear that, I guess you're in a hurry as it can be had for a fraction of that amount here via wanted post for those with no access to junkers nearby or otherwise could not find any.
