how do i time my 1988 4 cylinder turbo

The timing on the '88 760 is pre-set and programmed in the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and cannot be adjusted.

I was thinking that the timing on the 1988 760 Turbo with LH 2.2 was adjustable. I'm thinking it's the timing on the 760 with 2.8 V6 that's not adjustable. Correct me if I'm wrong.

This is from one of my Volvo publications. Others have the same info.

They also say the 6 cylinder timing is computer controlled and is not adjustable.
