When mine failed at 184,000 miles, it was because the original owner tried resetting the trip meter while driving.
Which is a very common reason for failure.
But why did it take her 14 years and 184K miles to figure out not to do that?

The ODO in my wagon asn't failed. Likely because it has the trip computer and no one resets it.

My Yellow one failed at 102,000.

I seen one at 350,000+ which has never failed.

Or that they don't have a gear in the speedo like the 850s. It's all electronic on these cars. :)

I have the YAZAKI cluster, currently showing 260k km, still OK (from what I understand they do not fail at all), (I did reset it while driving most of the time).
