Broken vacuum tree but can I run seafoam anyway?

I was looking forward to trying seafoam in my daughter's 855 today, and as I pulled off the cap on the middle one, the bottom one broke....it must have been hanging by a thread anyway..Sunday of course....Volvo parts unavailable. (PullAPart not a good option with this part) So what steps should I take to run the test anyway? Thank you very much in advance!

First for you I do not know about the seafoam but if I had this problem which I did I would run to the hardware store and buy a small screw in brass barb fitting and use a shop vac or a house vac and drill that hole bigger to fit your new barb fitting in, put some sealant around the barb fitting and presto it will work for a long time

Thanks, but the one that broke was connected to a line that was running from a valve, so I wouldn't want to just plug that line up probably? I don't mind replacing the tree later, but wanted to run the seafoam through the whole system now . Is it possible to plug that broken line up elsewhere on the tree or any fixes temporarily that you know of?

Sorry now I see the barb fitting part. I misread brass screw and thought you meant plug it. It's so late in the day now I might as well wait & hopefully get the tree tomorrow. Thanks anyway.
