Hello everyone.
I am a long time reader, first time poster.
I recently got my hands on some Bose speakers for my 99 s80.
At first it was a pain but I finally got them up and work, with my new hu 801 deck (I had hu 611) (611 couldn't power the speakers so I got the 801 with amp center speakers.
So the problem that I am having is I'm getting feedback from the speaker with no sound. Does anyone know about why this is happening? I've read about ground not being done right. I have the speaker amp that came with them grounded to the door support panel handle thing. Would this be why I am having such problems with feedback? Oh did I mention that I am somewhat of a novice with car audio specifically. Thank for your insight everyone.

The Nissan/Bose system is designed as a complete system.
Those speakers were intended for use with the matching
Nissan/Bose Head Unit and tuned for a Nissan interior.
They aren't compatible with your Volvo stereo. Sorry.

Hmm so that hissing type sound is from the radio itself seeing how its not getting a signal from its original? Because the speakers sounds wonderful. But only thing is when vol at 0 I get that sound. Ty again for your replies.
