Hello all,
In need of advice. We, 9 my son and I ) bought a 91 940 turbo wagon to possible swap parts , as his 91 SE has seen better days. ANyways, the vehicle was at a scape yard and we got it with clean title. Said engine was bad. Knowing the B230 is pretty indestructible, we took it. It had a broken turbo,( Mitusbishi). I ordered a used one and bolted it back on...
My questions arise, as to how do I verify the oil is flowing through the turbo. The was a lot of residual oilin the engine from the bad broken unit. The engine runs smooth, but the boost gauge does not move when throttle is moved. It smokes,,, and I cannot determine if is us old oil or a new issue. Any Ideas?
