s70 door clicks

s70 door clicks

I have a 1998 s70 and about a month ago the drivers side door started to click when you open/ close it.


Its harder to open at 2 points in the opening area. the click is loud and i have no idea how to fix it

Door Stops. Search, Lube or replace.

If it's clicking then it's probably already broken, just replace it and have done with.

I had the same problem a few years ago. The hinge was fine but the attachment on the A pillar was failing and just needed to be repaired. I followed some instructions found on this site (sorry, cannot find them right now), lubed the hinge and the problem was solved.
