Hello:
I own a 2001 Volvo V70 T5. In the past couple of weeks it has been cranking for a while before it starts. Usually, I can just lock and unlock with the remote a few times and then the car will start. Today, that didn't work. I was cranking the car and the immobilizer message appeared. I waited, tried the remote again, and the car still wouldn't start. It almost turned over a couple of times but it never did. Now when I try to start the car, I hear a clicking/buzzing noise. I noticed that all the lights flicker as I am trying to start the car now, but still hear the clicking/buzzing. Help?

Dead battery will cause these issues. Get your battery charged and tested and see it it helps. Could need to be replaced.
I am a current Volvo 850T5 owner. Have had '67 144ES, 71 142E, 76 245DL, 80 242GT, 81 245DL. Still wish that I had the 142E.
