1) would it be possible to use either a door or door skin from a 95+ 850 to replace a damaged one? Some drunken moron backed down my street and nailed the s70 and my old work truck... the truck isn't a big deal, rocks do more damage... the s70 however.. creased rear driver side door.
2) ignition lock cylinder. feels like the return spring broke. car still starts fine, but you have to manually turn it back or the starter tries to keep running. Not a problem for me, but the wife wants it fixed. Instead of fixing it by replacing it, wondering if anyone has fixed the spring, or how hard it would be to wire up a push-button like i have in my truck?

Sorry to hear about the moron. There seem to be a lot of them around just when we thought they had all gone away.
Question 1: No you need an S70 door. A wagon's door from any '98-00 V70 will also fit.
Question 2: Try just replacing the electrical part of the ignition switch. It's around $45 from dealers/online parts people but insist on a genuine only. It's fitted on the opposite side to the mechanical switch. These fail often.
