Guys,

I have a 99 V70XC, and the drive shaft was replaced a few months ago with a colorado rebuild due to clunking and pinging noise...both CV boots were worn out. The car has been running great since then, but had a clunk develop over time when shifting from drive to reverse, out of park and moving a few feet, or on harsh acceleration. It was the Viscous Coupling bushing. Rather than buy a new bushing and try to and press it in, I just found a used VC shipped for $60. Put it in. Car drives fine and has no clunk from the worn bushing, but I do get some vibration between 65-75 now, it seems pretty steady but may pulsate every 15 seconds or so. Maybe I just didn't notice it before...but it seems like it never existed before.

I did not put it in, the indie did, so I can't speak to the install. Is it possible that it is out of balance somehow? What would you suggest I look at if I want to take care of this issue? The unit was clean and from a low mileage car that was being parted out.

The tires are slightly cupped. Worn ball joints were replaced with new control arms and a new alignment. New engine top mount. New front end links. New rear nivomats. Only the original struts remain. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
