Pics of cool volvo's (or any other cool cars)

Post by shanegtr »

Just thought I'd start a thread to see what cars people like, obviously being a volvo forum it would be good to see what people think are cool volvos, but also any other make. Heres a couple of of volvos I really like:
Since getting my volvo I've been looking at others, and I've really taken a liking to the P1800's. They just have an unreal shape that lends itself well to hot rodding an customs.

I love my motor sport too, and I love things that are different to the norm, so for me the 850 wagon race car is a no brainer to go onto my list

P1800's are really cool.

Most of my love would be with classic cars from the 50's-60's.

My "dream car" (68 Mustang Fastback)

Also a huge fan of these (65 GTO):

And these (57 Corvette):

It seems common now, but I built a 1969 black Camaro back in high school. I started with a body shell $200. A '67 350hp 327ci Corvette engine $350.00 and went from there.
Later I blew up the small block and installed a 650hp 482ci marine big block with a TH400 trans. This was a daily driver.
It was totaled in 1989 when I was broadsided by a GMC Jimmy.
Every time I see one it brings back memories. It was the first car in which I had to become familiar with every nut and bolt. My 1993 850 GLT would be the second. I had never thought that over 20 years later I would get back into it again with as much enthusiasm.
These are not mine, but similar.
Mine looked a bit like this before its demise.

I enjoy wrenching on my own cars again. I guess I didn't find it fun again until I got the '93 850 from a friend on its way to the junk yard. It's not so bad. I feel kind of young while doing it.
Just like High School. These now take my time and money.
