Hi,
I recently had ABS and Tracs error lights light up and noticed that insulation iof wires comming from ABS pump is niearly all gone!!! I used small rubber pipes to insulate it and it actually worked for some time but has again gone bad...I took the plactic cover off the pump to get to the wires and precisely insulated everything...but now after spending many hours today trying to find the cause I'm giving up on it...I actually think that the whole pump or the nodule must have died because of short circuit?
What do you think? did anyone experienced something simmilar before? I'm kind of lost on this one, since actually there was a short circuit on these wires just 2-3 days before but ABS pump and module were fully fixable...and now it deemd to be dead.....

Did you check your fuse? Take a multimeter to the pump leads, you should see about 1-4 ohms, give or take.
The pump wires shorting out won't kill the module or the pump, it will just cause the lights to come on and maybe blow the fuse.
