I have a new to me 1999 Volvo V70XC. I am trying to diagnose a transmission issue.

P0740 and P1618 codes on OBD2. I have tools and garage space available at times ( My fathers place)

I have maintained and repaired all my cars for the last 15 years but this is my first Volvo.

It would be great to meet any local Volvo enthusiasts as I plan to keep and lightly mod this car once I

get to Stage 0.
