Xc60 diesel rental car!

In England for a few days and got the change to rent a XC 60 D5 auto diesel. Drive an 03 XC 70 back home.
Things have progressed. It does sound dieselly at idle but if this is a 5cylinder it's far smoother than the engine in the 03.
Getting 27usmpg. Less than I was expecting rides and handles well.
It's got GPS blis lane depart head on crash stuff. Won't figure out GPS as I have my Harmon with me.

Meant to type Garmin guess auto corrupt knows best!
I don't think mpg is good enough to justify diesel. That said perhaps I'm being lighter footed than most as Si've gotten 300 miles out of half a tank.

Btw: the engine sound varies a lot from low speed idle rattle to smooth sound to a little bit of hard accelerating growl.
Looking forward to seeing what I get for mpg versus the cars reporting average which includes prior drivers.
It was a Hertz upgrade from a Ford Mondeo
I call that a win.
