Viva Suspension Braces... anyone used them??

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Viva Suspension Braces... anyone used them??

Post by L1lb1tandthor » Thu Aug 22, 2013 5:40 pm

Just picked up an 04 S60 AWD and I love the ride but... it wallows a bit with the minor "spirited" driving I do. Has anyone used the suspension braces that Viva Performance offers and what did you think? Are there any other brands of braces out there you have tried with good results?

I'm looking at the front and rear lower braces as well as the strut bar rigid mounts.

I have no info on the braces, but I would first get a set of IPD sway bars to tame the wallow. A much bigger bang for the buck.

Good luck.

I have both on my s80 and they work very well! You may want to upgrade the sway bars with them though. All in all they provide a much flatter turn and a sportier feel for not too much $$

Just put the front and rear braces on and it is a world of difference. No more wiggle from the rear and the front feels more planted. Only a slight increase in NVH noticed over sharp expansion bumps. Still very comfortable and now much more predictable when driving vigorously. Worth every penny to me.
