I've owned a tan interior P2 (2004 V70 R) and a charcoal/graphite interior P80 (still have it -- my 850). I like the charcoal/graphite because it causes less glare. My outside vision is better when the interior is visually "quiet".
It's more practicality than taste that drives my choice.

The charcoal interior is just much prettier IMO.
I'd looked at several S70's with the tan interior, and wasn't very hot on the cars.
When I came across my blue/black one (with dark woodgrain) and opened the door the first time...I wanted the car right there.
FWIW, after owning a Honda with an ugly tan courderoy interior...I will only to this day buy a car with a black/grey interior
