2002 S60 Installing used trip computer.

After many years of owning 850's I gave my '97 to my son. I bought a 2002 S60. Has anyone installed a trip computer? The S 60 I have does not have one and I got used to the one on the 850. When I bought the 850 it did not have a trip computer and I just bought the switch and computer used and removed the instrument panel and was not that big a deal. Any thoughts or advice will be appreciated.
By the way the 2002 S60 has the Asin-Warner 55-50 SN and I had to replace the solenoids in the transmission one week ago due to shift flairs and rough shifts. I can offer advice on that if any one needs it. Thanks

you need to replace switch and reprogram 2 modules
CEM and DIM.
For CEM configuration change needed to enable trip computer.
DIM needs firmware that also have trip computer enabled.

Install new switch and ask dealer to install trip computer option. (software)
