2001 S60 Air Filter housing - hose missing from back (pic

Post by markymarc2u »

Just changed out my air filter, and noticed an area behind (or aft of) the air filter housing where one tiny hose is connected and one tiny hose is missing.

I saw the missing hose dangling behind the housing and it's missing it's connector / boot. It appears to be too short to reach the plug anyways.

Can someone please tell me what that hose is, what it does (or isn't doing)?

Thanks!

Marc / Phoenix, AZ

Might be the one that goes to the brake booster sensor, right in front of the airbox, check for a vacuum line underneath the airbox
