I need help with codes!!!

Post by smithy850 »

On an invoice from the Volvo dealer, they recommend that I replace the EVAP valve. It is noted that they tested it and it needs to be swapped out for a new one. Also says that I need a new air pump and pair valve. They list the following codes: 442, 448, and 611. I replaced the EVAP valve- no change/ CEL still on. Does anyone have any experience with this combination of codes and/or this system? What controls what? How many sensors are in the system? What's a "pair" valve and how does it relate to the SAS valve, the check valve, the EVAP valve, etc.? I need to solve this problem as the car is not running properly and I am very confused! Please help me sort this out!
